OPP say a suspended driver had cannabis readily available in the vehicle

A woman from the GTA is scheduled to answer charges in Goderich Court in early March, after a driver was charged with several offences during a traffic stop in Huron East.

OPP tell us they pulled over a speeding vehicle on Kippen Road earlier this month, and a search of the vehicle led to the seizure of a quantity of cannabis.

Investigators add that the driver's licence was under suspension, and that she failed a field sobriety test.

A 54 year-old Scarborough woman is charged with impaired driving, driving with cannabis readily available, speeding, driving while suspended and fail to provide an insurance card.
