Ramara Resident Facing Flight From Police Charge

Police continue to rely on the public to call in suspected impaired drivers.

A 40-year-old Ramara woman is facing flight from police and impaired by drug charges after being stopped by police on Atherley Road.

On Monday, after 4 pm Orillia OPP got a call for a possible impaired driver.

Brandy Tonkin has a March 4th court date in Orillia where she’ll face the charges.

Police continue to rely on the public to call in suspected impaired drivers. 

Police say many impaired drivers are caught because of socially conscious members of the public who want to keep families safe from tragedies caused by impaired drivers on area roads.
