A 27-year-old Aurora man's been convicted of a nine-year-old robbery at a Bradford coffee shop.
On November 7, 2011, around 1:00 a.m., a masked suspect brandished a handgun and robbed an employee of cash at the Country Style Donuts on Holland Street West.
Forensic evidence was recovered including DNA and fingerprints.
In Spring 2017, police were notified of a crime scene hit from the National DNA Databank.
Follow up matched a fingerprint from the scene to the same suspect.
On Wednesday, August 16, 2017, Kevin Janeiro of Aurora was arrested and charged in connection with the robbery.
In Bradford court on Tuesday, Janeiro was found guilty of robbery.
He'll be sentenced in Bradford court April 21st.
