A Bracebridge woman faces an impaired driving charge stemming from an incident in Mattawa.
On February 3rd at 5 pm, North Bay OPP responded to a traffic complaint about a possible impaired driver on Highway 17.
Officers located the vehicle on John Street.
Upon speaking to the driver, officers detected an odour of alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, 28-year-old Mary Sarah Kelly of Bracebridge was charged with Over 80 and Driving a Motor Vehicle With an Open Container of Liquor.
The accused was released and is scheduled to attend court in North Bay on February 18th.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days and the drivers' licence was subject to a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS).
