Christmas Kettle Campaign Exceeds Expectations In Goderich

Goderich/Clinton | by Fadi Didi

2019 Christmas Kettles raised over $96 thousand, far past the goal of $85 thousand.

The Salvation Army Suncoast Citadel in Goderich has exceeded expectations in their latest Christmas Kettle Campaign.

Sally Ann officials were hoping to raise $85 thousand in donations this year, as volunteers were stationed with Christmas kettles at stores across Canada's Prettiest Town.

To date, the Salvation Army has raised $96,459.

The money raised helps to fund several programs at the Goderich and Clinton Salvation Army locations, including a backpack program for school kids, a winter coat rive, and food bank.
