Bracebridge continues to work on plans for a new multi-use community centre and is now seeking public input on the project.
The proposed facility will be located southwest of Wellington Street on the future Salmon Avenue, and will provide residents with an extension of new amenities, including: a 1,000-seat NHL-sized Ice Arena, Community Hall, Multi-Court Fieldhouse with elevated track, and Bracebridge Public Library.
The town is looking to understand what activities, programs and facility features will support ongoing community use and activity at the Multi-Use Community Centre.
Two public sessions are being held today at the Bracebridge Sportsplex.
The first takes place from 4-6 p.m., while the second runs from 7-9 p.m..
