Woman Charged in Teeswater Single Vehicle Accident

A 51 year old woman has been charged with operating a vehicle over the legal limit.

A 51 year old woman from Culross Township has been charged with operating a vehicle over the legal limited following an accident just before 5:20 pm on Friday (Jan 17).

Provincial Police say they received a report of a single vehicle crash along Concession 8 north of Teeswater. Officers arrived to find that a pick-up truck had left the road way and struck a hydro pole before coming to rest in the ditch. The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol.

There were no reported injuries at the scene and the driver is scheduled for a February 5, 2020 court appearance to answer the charge.
