Dog Found In Suitcase In Etobicoke

Toronto Police say the female dog was found by joggers on Saturday.

Toronto police are looking for the person who stuffed a dog into a suitcase and threw it down a hill in Etobicoke.

The female Jack Russell mix was discovered in the suitcase by joggers odn the Humber River Trail in Lambton Park.

It's unknown how long the dog had been there, but thankfully, mild weather kept her from freezing to death.

A member of the Black Dog Rescue group said the dog appears to have recently had pups and is now in the care of Toronto Animal Services.

The scum responsible could face imprisonment and a fine of $130,000.
