Shelburne and Orangeville to Benefit From Transit Line

Dufferin/Grey | by Jill Young

A Grey Transit Route will transport people from Grey County into Dufferin.

A transit route that will serve Grey and Dufferin Counties is coming in the new year.

A Grey Transit Route (GTR) will start in 2020 and will have several routes, including one transporting people from Owen Sound on Highway 10 all the way through Shelburne and down to Orangeville.

Grey County, in partnership with Southgate, is developing the “Made in Grey” transit solution to meet transportation needs.

There will also be another fixed route, that will be on Highway 26 connecting Blue Mountains with Owen Sound.
