The City of Owen Sound has opened the Good Cheer Rink at Harrison Park for another year of use.

The rink is free to use, however, the city asks that the community keep in mind a few basic rules.

According to a city press release the rink will operate on a H.O.S.E. rule, this means that hockey will be allowed on the rink on odd-numbered calendar days and regular skating on even-numbered calendar days.

The release also states that proper protective equipment must be worn well using the rink and that children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.

The rink will be open daily if weather conditions permit.

The city says that they will be posting updates about the rink on their various social media pages.
