OSSTF Says More Job Action Could Come

Ontario | by Jill Young

Union officials say there could be more walkouts like what happened Wednesday.

After a one-day strike that closed down many high school and elementary schools yesterday, the work to rule campaign by teachers continues.

The big question is, will there be more.

The union representing them, the OSSTF says the walkout yesterday could be the first of more, if the government doesn't budge in ongoing contract talks.

The teachers say they would give five days notice before any more job action.

Increased class sizes and mandatory e-learning courses are the sticking points.
