Grey County councillors will elect their top politician, the warden, for the next one-year term tonight.
County Communications Officer Rob Hatten says incumbent County Warden Selwyn Hicks intends to run again. Hicks is also Deputy Mayor of Hanover.
Grey Highlands Mayor Paul McQueen also says he is running for the spot.
The County Warden is the head of Grey's eighteen member County council, they chair council meetings and represent the County at numerous events in the community.
The warden is elected each year by the nine members of council which is made up of mayors and deputy mayors from each municipality.
