Town-Wide Food Drive Returns To Goderich Tuesday

Goderich | by Fadi Didi

150 students from Goderich District Collegiate Institute will collect non-perishables from front porches between 9AM-12PM Tuesday.

You can help students at Goderich District Collegiate Institute collect food donations, without leaving your home.

The school's annual food drive runs Tuesday, and Co-Organizer Emma Davison says residents can leave bags of non-perishable food items on their front porch or stoop for kids to collect.

Davison tells Country 104.9 News the items in need include pasta, canned soup, chili, peanut butter, and tuna.

About 150 GDCI students will be scouring Goderich between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, collecting donations.

The donations support food banks in the Town of Goderich.
