Charges Laid Following Summer Crash In Howick

Police charge 24 year old man with careless driving causing death, after dump truck driver killed.

Charges have been laid, more than four months after a crash claimed the life of a dump truck driver in Howick Township.

Huron OPP say a pickup driver crossed the centre line on Amberley Road near Molesworth on July 16th, and into the path of an oncoming dump truck.

55 year old Paul Douglas of Howick Township died as a result of the collision.

A 24 year old Listowel man has been formally charged with careless driving cause death.

He is scheduled to appear in Goderich court December 17th.
