Draft Budget Deliberations Continue in Mono

Mono | by Jill Young

The Town of Mono says 1.2 million would have to be trimmed for 2020, to keep with 2019 budget.

The first review of the 2020 Draft Budget for Mono has been completed.

The Town Treasurer Les Halucha noted that in order to keep with the 2019 budget plus inflation, $1,289,099 would have to be trimmed.

He talked about some discretionary reserve funds that could be used by council to offset the expenses, which would bring the budget inline with inflation.

Council has decided to hold a special council meeting on Wednesday November 20th for budget deliberations.
