Fresh Footprints Help OPP Track Suspect In South Huron

Police say suspicious person found, after footprints in fresh snow, mud were tracked on Thames Road.

Fresh tracks in the snow helped police find a suspicious person in South Huron.

OPP were called to a property on Thames Road Monday, after the property owner reported a suspicious person on his land.

According to reports, the landowner saw the suspect using an all-terrain vehicle on his property before hiding in nearby bushes.

After removing key was removed from the ATV, officers followed fresh tracks in the snow and mud and closed in on the suspect.

A report of a suspicious person was reported at a nearby property on Hern Line, and the suspect was arrested.

A 24 year old Stratford man is facing theft charges, with a December 2nd date in Goderich court.
