Orillia OPP Investigating Bank Robbery

Around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, police say a man entered a bank on West Street South, approached the teller, indicated he had a weapon and demanded cash.

Orillia OPP are looking for the public's help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

Around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, police say a man entered a bank on West Street South, approached the teller, indicated he had a weapon and demanded cash.

After getting some money, the suspect fled the scene, heading southbound on West Street. 

Officers responded quickly and the K9 unit was called in, but the suspect managed to get away. 

However, his image was caught on surveillance.
