Huron-Bruce Hospitals Receiving Provincial Funding

MPP Lisa Thompson announces over $880,000 for six hospitals across the riding

The province's drive to end hallway health care is resulting in additional funding to six hospitals in Huron-Bruce, announced by Tory MPP Lisa Thompson.

More than $880,000 is being distributed across the riding, with the South Bruce Grey Health Centre receiving $327,000 for its sites which include Kincardine and Walkerton.

In Huron County, hospitals in Goderich, Clinton, Seaforth, South Huron and Wingham are in line for various amounts.

Goderich's Alexandra Marine and General Hospital is getting the highest amount, at $175,000.

Thompson adds that $6.1 million is on its way to Grey Bruce Health Services, including its site in Southampton.
