The Labour Day long weekend was a busy one for Shelburne Police.
Officers laid a total of 118 traffic related charges, some involving suspended or unlicensed drives.
They say some incidents were very concerning including those that involved infants or children not buckled into car seats.
Speeding was the most common offence with 66 charges laid while 28 were handed out for document related offences.
Police handed out 5 tickets each for liquor, equipment, seatbelt and child seat violations.
Other tickets handed out were for red light or stop sign offences, distracted driving and insecure loads.
