Huron-Bruce Farmers To Receive $1.7M From Queen's Park

Canadian Agricultural Partnership to provide funding for grants on building improvements, wind breaks, tree planting.

Over 70 farmers and agricultural operations in the provincial riding of Huron-Bruce will benefit from almost $1.7 million in funding from Queen's Park and Ottawa.

Projects that qualify for grants range from farm building improvements, to planting trees to act as windbreaks and help with erosion control.

The assistance comes through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership.

Huron-Bruce Progressive Conservative MPP Lisa Thompson says the riding has received the highest number of grants in the province, in this round of funding.
