Collingwood cracks top 25 in poll of the best communities in Canada to live

The Maclean's magazine poll ranked 415 communities across the country using a number of categories.

Collingwood has placed 22nd in a Maclean's Magazine poll of the best communities in Canada for 2019.

Maclean's took a look at 415  communities across the country,  ranking them in categories such as crime, weather, wealth and economy, affordability, taxes, commute, access to health care and more.

Each category had a certain number of points attached to it.

Maclean's ranked Collingwood's demographics as its top feature, followed by culture and community, and commute.

The only other Simcoe County municipality to make the top 25 was New Tecumseth,  which came 5th,  with demographics, low crime and culture and community listed as its top features.
