The Wiarton village fair enjoyed beautiful weather over the long weekend. Couple the weather with the games, food vendors and family activities and you get a successful fair.
One fair goer was May Frenandas. Although she grew up in the area this was her first time attending the event as a Grey County summer tourism student. She says that the atmosphere the fair brings is one of a kind.
"A fair is something you only get in smaller communities, it's unique compared to places like Canada's Wonderland," She continues saying "it's much more of a community feel, you see people you know, people are welcoming. It's a great atmosphere."
The fair ran from Saturday to Monday with events all three days happening at the Bluewater Park along the waterfront in Wiarton.
