The province's Connecting Links program is providing Huron-Bruce with more than $2.3 million, to go toward three major infrastructure projects.
The announcement was made recently by Progressive Conservative MPP Lisa Thompson.
Thompson says the bulk of the funding will help pay for resurfacing of Goderich Street in Seaforth, which rings in at almost $1.7 million.
New asphalt will be laid along Victoria Street in Clinton, with a $418 thousand contribution, while $315 thousand is committed to the Railway Street box culvert extension in Saugeen Shores.
The three projects are among 25 across Ontario, that have been awarded grants under the Connecting Links program for 2019.
Thompson encourages Huron-Bruce municipalities to apply for a new round of funding, which opens later this year.
