Owen Sound police have arrested a man and a woman after a downtown restaurant window was damaged by two projectiles.
Police say just before 4:30 Wednesday afternoon, the bay window of a closed restaurant in the 700 block of 2nd Avenue East was suddenly damaged.
Police quickly determined the projectiles were glass marbles.
They say they located a 25 year old man and a 20 year old woman, both of Owen Sound, and arrested them about ten minutes after the incident.
According to police, the man was found in possession of a sling shot and a bag of glass marbles.
They say the woman also had meth on her.
The man, who was bound by a probation order, faces four charges including weapons offences and mischief.
The woman was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Both have court dates in Owen Sound in August.
Police say they appreciate the timely help of the public in the investigation.
