Stanley Cup Parades Thursday In Seaforth, Goderich

Stanley Cup champion, Varna-native Ryan O'Reilly to be honoured in dual parades.

A member of the NHL Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues is back home, as forward Ryan O'Reilly is being honoured with two parades.

The first parade goes through Seaforth, starting at 9:35am this morning, followed by a photo session with Ryan at the Seaforth Arena.

Then in Goderich at 1pm, Lord Stanley's mug will accompany Ryan along West Street and around Courthouse Square.

He'll be available for photos only at the Maitland Rec Centre from 1:45pm till 3:30pm -- he will not be signing autographs.

Ryan O'Reilly also won the Conn Smythe Trophy as most valuable player in the NHL playoffs, and the Selke Trophy as the league's best defensive forward.

Hockey alumni will also be taking part in the Goderich parade, including Cal O'Reilly, Boyd Devereaux, Dave Farrish, Dave McLlwain, Larry Jeffrey, and Ron Ellis.
