Wasaga Casino Has Been Named

We now know what the casino in Wasaga Beach will be called.

We now know what the casino in Wasaga Beach will be called.

The gaming facility at the Mosley Street roundabout will be known as Cascades Casino Wasaga Beach.

Mayor Nina Bifolchi says on behalf of council, she is pleased to announce the OLG and the Ontario government have approved the business case for the casino.

The OLG says an opening date will be announced in the next few weeks.

The casino will be run by Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Ltd. This is the same company that has taken over running Casino Rama and Georgian Downs.

Gateway's website describes its Cascades brand as being a fun and approachable, full-service entertainment destination with a casual ambiance.

Gateway Casinos has three Cascades brand facilities in British Columbia.
