The second of three Goods Exchange Days in Owen Sound this year goes today.
Residents are encouraged to put unwanted household items that are in good condition out on the lawn for someone else to take.
The city advises a sign that says "free" be posted or a white plastic bag tied onto one or more of the items to indicate they're available to be taken.
Furniture, small appliances, doors, sinks, windows, art, books, tools, sporting goods and toys are all items you can leave curbside.
Residents are asked to bring leftover items back inside by 6 p.m. as anything remaining won't be collected.
After today, the final Goods Exchange Day this year is October 19.
