Police Charge Pickup Driver Parked On Goderich Park Grass

Police say driver at Butterfly Park had pickup on grass, failed two breath tests.

It didn't take long for OPP to arrest an impaired driver in the town of Goderich.

Police say they were alerted to a suspected impaired driver at the Butterfly Park, at the corner of Wilson Street and Blake Street West.

According to reports, a pickup had parked on a section of grass when officers arrived.

OPP say alcohol was smelled on the driver, who failed a pair of alcohol breath tests at a nearby detachment.

A 33 year old Grand Bend man is facing two impaired driving charges, with an August date in Goderich Court.

His licence was also suspended for 90 days.
