Man Arrested For Having Over 65 Grams Of Meth

OPP called to a fight in Northern Bruce Peninsula where they say they also found drugs.

Grey Bruce OPP have arrested a 22 year old Northern Bruce Peninsula man for having over 65 grams of Crystal Meth.   

Police say at about 9:30 Monday night, (June 24) they were called for to a fight at an address on Highway 6, Northern Bruce Peninsula.

Police say they found a man in an agitated state who would not cooperate with them.

The man was arrested and during the investigation police say they formed reasonable and probable grounds that the arrested man had assaulted a second person at the scene.

Police conducted a search and say they located over 65 grams of suspected Crystal Meth as well as drug paraphernalia.  

Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 22 year old Northern Bruce Peninsula man with  assault, possession of meth, possession for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with a probation order.

The accused has been remanded into custody and will appear in court in Owen Sound today.
