Drug Arrest in Saugeen Shores

Two people from Wallaceburg were arrested and charged on June 23

Saugeen Shores Police arrested a man and a woman from Wallaceburg late Sunday evening on multiple drug charges following a vehicle stop around 11:50 p.m.

Police say  multiple drugs were found including; Cocaine, Purple Fentanyl and Meth

A 34 year-old man was found to be in violation of his probation and release conditions resulting from previous incidents, and  was not have contact with a woman with whom he was found in a vehicle with.

The man was arrested for these violations. The 45 year old woman was also arrested due to the drugs found in the vehicle. 

A 34 year old Wallaceburg man has been charged with:

Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
Fail to comply with a recognizance order – drug possession
Fail to comply with a recognizance order – at-large without surety
Fail to comply with a recognizance order  - non communication order

A 45 year old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with:

 
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
Fail to comply with a recognizance – drug possession

Both were held for bail hearings in Walkerton.
