OPP Officer Administers Naloxone to Save Another Life

Caledon OPP say for the second time in three months, Naloxone had to be given for an overdose.

Officers with Caledon OPP administered Naloxone to save someone's life for the second time in three months.

Sunday June 9th after midnight, Police were called for reports of a possible overdose in the area of Highway 50 and Ellwood Drive.

A man said his 31 year old girlfriend had taken ecstasy and edible cannabis gummies.

When officers arrived the woman was unconscious and she was having trouble breathing normally.
Naloxone was administered and the woman recovered very quickly.

This is the second time in three months the same officer - Constable Kelly Mak - had to administer Naloxone.
