Do you buy or do you sell?
Values of waterfront cottages around the region are up this Spring market time.
In Collingwood, Thornbury and Meaford, the median price is just over a million dollars.
It's around half that price in Bruce Peninsula at $458,000.
In Muskoka, the median price for a cottage on the water will run you seven hundred thousand dollars.
It's $784,000 in South Muskoka and Orillia.
Real estate officials say the reason for the price increase, which is up 7.2 percent for a single family home in Ontario, is low inventory, as retirees compete with young families looking to get away from the city.
