Summer Programs Finalized for Launch Pad in Hanover

Many skilled based programs offered.

Summer is just around the corner, and that means new programs at Hanover’s Launch Pad Youth Activity and Technology Centre.

Skills based learning in a fun friendly environment, that is what Executive Director Emily Morrison says Launch Pad is offering in its summer based programming.

Now is the time to register for one of Launch Pad’s Summer skilled based programs.

Programs include :welding, woodshop, exploring technology, photography, culinary programs as well as a music camp for those ages 12 to 18 years of age

This summer Launch Pad is also offering two Explore Launch Pad camps for ages 10 to 11 to provide the youth with a taste of what Launch Pad has to offer.

Morrison says the Launch Pad is all about exploring, discovering and enhancing youth skills.

She says Launch Pad offers an inclusive space that fosters teamwork and opportunity.

The goal of Launch Pad is to invest in youth by equiping them with skills and connections in the community.

The focus of Launch Pad is to provide youth with skills based training that will assist them in future employment endevours.

Registration for Summer Day Camps range from 95 to 150 dollars and there are subsidies available.

You don’t have to register for Summer Camp to visit Launch Pad.

This summer Launch Pad is adopting new daytime hours of 10 am till 6pm for youth who are not signed up for Summer Camp programs but still want to drop by and utilize the facilities.
