Drainage Studies To Be Conducted For Caledon, Alton

Studies will identify what drainage issues are present, with public meetings to follow.

There will be some studies on drainage in the Town of Caledon and the Village of Alton.

The purpose of the study is identify what the drainage issues are in the area and will be done in two phases.

The study for Caledon Village involves George Street and McFaul, while in Alton the focus is on the whole village but in particular the Alton Estates subdivision.

The public is invited to attend the upcoming open house meetings to hear the results of a characterization study and to give input on alternative solutions.

The Caledon meeting is June 24th from 6 to 8 at Caledon Village Place in the Community Room.

The Alton meeting is June 13th at the Library on Station Street from 6 to 8.
