Residents of a street in Goderich's south end are under a boil water advisory, but not because of detected bacteria in their supply.
Veolia Water says the notice affecting residents of the Lakeside Drive area is being issued as a precaution, while repairs are made to a water main break that happened last week.
The company advises residents to bring water to a rolling boil for one minute before drinking, brushing your teeth, washing food, making ice or puddings, and making baby food or formula.
Veolia says the water is safe for washing, showering, laundry and dishwashing.
They point out that bottled water can always be used as a substitute.
Veolia says Lakeside Drive area residents will be advised, when the boil water notice is lifted.
