Suspicious Driver Spotted in Erin

Wellington County OPP are investigating a suspicious pick up truck a teenager spotted on Sunday.

Wellington County OPP are warning people about a suspicious truck in Erin.

Authorities say the vehicle was seen on Sunday in the  area of Eighth Line and Wellington Road 124.

They say a teenager walking in the area at around 9:00am and saw the pick-up truck drive by slowly several times. 

The driver appeared to be staring at the youth as he went by. 

Police say the truck then left the area when a relative of the teen arrived in the area.

 The vehicle is described as a black GMC Sierra pick-up truck with a black cap, tinted windows and some chrome detailing. 

 Authorities describe the driver as a male, approximately 50-years-old, clean-shaven, tan-skinned, heavy set with dark-coloured eyes. 

He was wearing a black baseball hat, black vest, and a blue hoody.

Anybody with information is asked to call Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
