Strongly Worded Letter To Premier

Wasaga Beach | by Catherine Thompson

The mayor of Wasaga Beach is sending a strongly worded letter to the Premier.

The mayor of Wasaga Beach is sending a strongly worded letter to the Premier.

The three page letter from Nina Bifolchi to Doug Ford states she is writing as "a supporter
who is fearful for the future of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario".

It further says, "Along with my worry for the reputation and viability of the
party, I am concerned about the future of Ontario."

She talks about cuts being made by the Ford government and "The process you have used for the regional governance review is also cause for concern. I can tell you I am not alone.
Many other long-time Simcoe County Conservatives are shaking their heads."

This is another statement in her letter, "My fear is you are damaging relations
and destroying good programs and services in a variety of sectors, including at the municipal level, and that you will suffer for it when Ontario goes to the polls".

Nina Bifolchi wraps up her letter to Premier Doug Ford by asking if it is true that his government is looking to divide Simcoe County into 4 or 6 municipalities and the reasoning behind this and behind the governance review as a whole.

She asks for a response from Ford.
