The Town of Grand Valley is getting infrastructure funding from the province.
Dufferin-Caledon MPP Sylvia Jones made the announcement Thursday for the the replacement of Bridge 11 on Concession Rd 2-3.
The $30-billion dollar Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program was announced earlier this spring by Ontario’s Minister of Infrastructure, Monte McNaughton.
McNaughton and Ontario’s Ag Minister Ernie Hardeman have been working together on the $500-million Rural and Northern stream of the program.
The bridge replacement for Grand Valley was in the first 49 province-wide projects announced, and will cost approximately $774,000 -which is awaiting federal government approval.
