Woman Sought in Quick Change Scam

Shelburne Police are looking for a women captured on surveillance targeting three different businesses.

Shelburne Police are looking for a woman who they say targeted three businesses in a "quick change" fraud scam.

Monday May 13th, police were called to three different businesses all on the same day, one of them was the No Frills store.

They say a woman went in and tried to make a small purchase with multiple cashiers, paying with a large bill and asking for change for additional large bills with the intent to confuse or manipulate the cashier.

She ended up taking $1,500 from the three businesses.

Police have released surveillance photos of the woman, who is described as white with red dyed hair, a medium to heavy build and about 18 to 35 years old.

She was wearing a large white visor, wearing a blue coat and blue and white patterned tights, black ankle boots and carried a black purse.
