Mosley Street Urbanization

Wasaga Beach | by Catherine Thompson

2.6 kilometre stretch of Mosley to be widened.

Councillors are to discuss starting the process to widen a section of a main Wasaga Beach road.

At it's meeting thismorning (starts 8:30 a.m.), a committee will look at a recommendation that full council hire Tatham Engineering to do the detailed design of the Mosley Street Urbanization project at a total cost of 325 thousand dollars.

The plan calls for the widening of Mosley Street from 45th Street to 57th Street to four lanes and three lanes from 57th Street to Beachwood Road.

The total 2.6 kilometre stretch will also have a three metre wide off-road multi-use trail on the south side and a concrete sidewalk on the north side.
