Hanover Police say officers investigated a suspicious male riding a bicycle in a residential neighbourhood on 13th Avenue in Hanover around 3:55 a.m. Sunday morning.
Town Police say the male was arrested and taken into custody where he was found in possession of two sets of stolen licence plates, break and enter instruments and a small amount of methamphetamine.
The 28-year-old faces numerous charges including possession of stolen property. Police say was held in custody and then later released on bail conditions for a court appearance in Walkerton.
Hanover Police say a rash of break-ins to garden sheds in residential neighbourhoods in the town, as well as thefts from unlocked vehicles, remain under investigation.
