A water safety advisory has been issued by the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority.
The ABCA is warning of rapidly rising water levels in watercourses due to Friday's consistent rainfalls.
The conservation authority says local waterways will exceed bank-full conditions, resulting in minor flooding on traditional low-lying areas.
Smaller watercourses are expected to peak Friday, while larger rivers will peak late Saturday.
Flows are expected to remain above seasonal into next week.
