The first of three Goods Exchange Days in Owen Sound this year will take place today.
Residents are encouraged to put unwanted household items that are in good condition out on the lawn for someone else to take.
The city advises a white plastic bag is tied onto one or more of the items to indicate they're available to be taken.
Furniture, small appliances, doors, sinks, windows, art, books, tools, sporting goods and toys are all items you can leave curbside.
Residents are asked to bring leftover items back inside by 6 p.m. as anything remaining won't be collected.
After today, the next Goods Exchange Days are July 20 and October 19.
