Two People Face List Of Charges In North Perth Assault

OPP say suspects held a victim against their will & used a conductive energy weapon.

OPP have charged two people after an assault in North Perth.

Police say they were called just before midnight on April 11th, after a victim had been assaulted with a conducted energy weapon (Taser) and held against their will.   
They say a man and woman let the victim go and fled North Perth.

They were arrested with the help of Huron County OPP after a foot pursuit west of Clinton.

A 21 year old Bluewater man faces a list of charges including, assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, forcible confinement,
Flight from peace officer,  possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Meth,  Possession of Prohibited device for a Dangerous Purpose,
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order, and charges related to prohibited driving, and probation.

Meanwhile, a 38 year old North Perth woman faces charges of assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Meth, possession of prohibited device for a dangerous purpose, and failing to comply with a probation order.
