OPP Seeking Tips In Wingham Hit-And-Run

Police looking to identify suspect of March 29th hit and run, which injured 14 year old boy.

OPP are looking for tips, following a crash in downtown Wingham.

According to reports, a 14 year old boy was cycling with friends on Josephine Street in late March, when he was struck by a vehicle near Victoria Street.

Witnesses say the suspect vehicle immediately sped off, and the injured teen was treated in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Although the suspect vehicle was later learned to be stolen, police are attempting to identify the driver.

He is described as a white male, possibly in his 20s, long shaggy brown hair, scruffy facial hair, and wearing a grey hoody and sunglasses.

The female passenger is described as white, possibly in her mid 20s, with long brown hair and sunglasses.
