Bracebridge Resident Will Stand Trial For Second Degree Murder

A Bracebridge man has been committed to stand trial on a 2nd-degree murder charge in relation to the shooting death of his wife Wendy Boland in 2017.

The Bracebridge courthouse says the preliminary hearing judgement in Bryan Boland’s case came down last week in Barrie Court.

Boland had initially been charged with first-degree murder after his wife’s body was discovered at their Wellington Street address.

Boland’s next court appearance will be in front of a Superior Court judge in Barrie on May 3rd for a pre-trial hearing.
