One of the region's largest maple syrup festivals is returning for its 52nd year.
The two-day Belmore Maple Syrup Festival kicks off Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the Belmore Community Centre.
The festival takes a day off before returning Saturday, beginning at 8:30 AM.
Spokesperson Kyle Wright tells us the wheelchair accessible event will feature all-day pancakes served with locally produced syrup and pork products, as well as a local craft show.
Baked goods will also be available for purchase.
Wright says demand at the festival is so high, organizers use a pancake conveyer belt to satisfy hungry patrons.
Meal prices are $12 for adults, $5 for kids between 6 and 11.
Those under 5 eat free.
