Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP have stopped a number of drivers in separate incidents and have laid charges.
Police say that on Sunday around 2:20 a.m., a vehicle was pulled over on Pine Street near Fifth Street. The officer believed the driver was under the influence which led to a roadside breath test which resulted in a fail.
A 56 year old Collingwood man is charged with impaired driving.
The next day, Monday, around noon, there was a crash at High and Campbell Streets in Collingwood.
Police say the investigation revealed that a black SUV had rear ended another vehicle, but the driver got out and walked away from the scene.
Officers found the driver at her home a short time later. A 54 year old woman is charged with drunk driving.
In a third incident, around 8 P.M. on Sunday, an officer saw a pick up truck doing what is known as "drifting" in the Poplar Sideroad and High Street roundabout.
The driver, a 27 year old man, was charged with race a motor vehicle-stunt.
And on April 5th, a driver was stopped on Ontario Street and the 33 year old Collingwood man was charged with driving while having cannabis readily available.
