Collingwood council is expected to make its decision tonight (Monday) on the future of the Collingwood Elvis Festival
Last week, a Collingwood council committee unanimously decided that the Elvis Festival should go private after this summer.
The 2019 event would be the last one run by the town.
Staff made the recommendation based on continued budget shortfalls and declining attendance over the years.
An amended staff report on this agenda answers questions raised by committee members and the public last week.
Full council will now consider the same recommendation as the one committee approved.
