Clinton | by Fadi Didi

Newly-formed Huron and Area Search and Rescue corralled horse, loose from Clinton's REACH Centre.

The newly-formed Huron and Area Search and Rescue (HASAR) was dispatched to a horse on the lam, north of Clinton.

Two volunteers from HASAR spotted the horse Saturday morning, along Highway 8.

Reports say the animal had escaped from Clinton's REACH Centre.

HASAR officials say the horse was successfully corralled.

HASAR is a newly established non-profit organization that includes professional trained volunteers available for deployment for methodical land and water searches for lost people, stolen property, etc., in Huron, South Bruce, Perth and Lambton Counties.

HASAR is certified by the Ontario Search and Rescue Volunteer Association.
